NEW AIRLINES FLY TO TERRITORY
by VIBusiness Staff

Delegate Christian-Christensen called the upcoming arrival of United Airlines, Continental Airlines, Cape Air and Gulfstream Airlines to the Territory "a bit of good news in the midst of economic hardship."

"At the end of this year St. Croix will lose Delta as a major carrier and so we welcome these airlines that still believe in the Virgin Islands as a viable destination," said Delegate Christensen, a member of the House Travel and Tourism Caucus.

"With all of the negative attention given to our economic situation, we welcome this small reprieve and the potential business it will bring. With the help of our Tourism Department I hope that we can all work together to market the Territory as the first class destination it is. I welcome our new partners and look forward to the many visitors that they will bring.
Let us make sure that we do our part as a community to make them feel at home."
