Law Firm's Commitment to Pro Bono
The Virgin Islands Bar Association takes seriously the pro bono responsibility of its members. Rule 6.1 of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct provides an annual aspirational goal of 50 hours of pro bono service without fee or expectation of fee. What questions should a new lawyer ask during an interview with a prospective employer to elicit the firm's pro bono commitment?
