There's No More Beautiful Place for a Destination Wedding

You may want to celebrate afterwards with your friends in the historic building our Congregation uses for such celebratory events, or go to a nearby fine restaurant, or return to your resort. You can even arrive in St. Thomas in the morning on a cruise ship, celebrate your wedding at the Synagogue or elsewhere on St. Thomas or St. John and be back on your ship in the afternoon for a wedding feast.

Many couples choose to rent one of the many incomparable villas and private homes available for rental on all of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. You can find them on line. Some of our congregants own the most beautiful among them on both St. Thomas and St. John. The Synagogue itself is able to rent a brand new villa on the south side of St. John with five bedrooms that sleeps ten, magnificent Caribbean views, and a lap pool, all set in an exquisitely decorated home and compound. This property rents for $7,000 to $10,000 per week, depending on the season.

Rabbi Moch will be happy to work with you to insure that your wedding will be the most beautiful day of your lives and a time of joy you will never forget.

The cost of celebrating a wedding with Rabbi Moch either at the Synagogue or at another location on St. Thomas or surrounding islands is $2,000 or $2,500 during the last two weeks of December and the first week of January. To secure a date, you must turn in an application, signed by both bride and groom along with a deposit that will be fully refundable until sixty days before your scheduled wedding date. You must also speak with Rabbi Moch personally by phone, skype or in person before he will commit to officiating at your wedding.

We look forward to celebrating with you, your family and friends.

There's No More Beautiful Place for a Destination Wedding
Many couples choose the Virgin Islands as place to celebrate the most sacred moment of their lives, where the honeymoon begins before the wedding and continues for you and your friends from the moment you step off the plane or ship until you step back on. You may want to consecrate your wedding in our beautiful and unique Synagogue in St. Thomas. Built in 1833, it remains an architectural gem of the Caribbean and is the second oldest Synagogue in continuous use in the Western Hemisphere and the oldest under the American Flag. Alternatively, you may want to get married on one of our pristine beaches or elegant resorts.
