Join us Friday for an interactive S'lichot program

Alex Laing and the Religious School parents have planned a S'lichot program for all ages at Friday night's Erev Shabbat service. Here is Alex's letter of invitation:

     Dear folks,

We hope to see children of all ages, including the post B'nai Mitzvah group, adults too, at this interactive service leading into the High Holy Day services.
Right after the candle blessing, please come up to the table set in the middle of the Sanctuary and find it laden with holiday items and symbols.
There you will find cards explaining each item, to be read by the youngest
child, on up to the oldest person who volunteers. Try and blow a shofar!
Share what the holidays mean to you.
If anyone, young or old, cannot sit through the service, come up to the
Lilienfeld House and make your own shofar, mitzvah wheels, holiday cards,
play Rosh Hashanah word find, eat some apples and honey. Have fun!!
Torah will be chanted at this service and we would like to give the honor of
the Torah Blessing Aliyah to our B'nai Mitzvah young adults.
Please come and be a part of this special service.
