By charging a nominal fee to cover costs, the Foundation offers fiduciary management services to donors, smaller organizations, committees and special events. This vital service has also become useful for administering grant awards.
     
     Last year the Foundation became the fiduciary for the Virgin Islands HIV/AIDS Program. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and administered by the Virgin Islands Department of Health, the overall objective of the program is to develop an HIV Prevention Comprehensive Plan for the Virgin Islands.
     
     The Foundation established the necessary mechanisms to expediently disburse funds to cover the costs of the program, including life-saving medicines for patients. The fiduciary services of the Foundation have essentially translated into one thing: the continuation of an HIV/AIDS program in the Virgin Islands.
