Veterans to get 10 X more tax relief in 5 years
   Tax relief is on the way for veterans, according to Gov. Fortuño, who spoke at a commemoration for them Thursday. As part of his message,at the Pedrín Zorrilla Coliseum in San Juan, he honored the men and women who have worked with the U.S. Armed Forces,
  According to his tax reform plans for military personnel, he said every veteran will get a deduction of up to $1,500 in the next tax return, for an average relief of $352, an 83 percent increase from the present $192.

House and Senate approve tax bill
   The Fortuño administration introduced an increase in taxes for non local companies operating in Puerto Rico, as the first step of a sweeping reform program he is slated to present Monday.According to House Bill 2526, all outside companies would pay a gradual 10 percent new taxes for the next six years.The percentages will start at 4 percent for the first year of the program.
