THE CRUMLEY HOUSE RESIDENTIAL CENTER
The new facility houses the current day treatment program and contains independent apartments for 14 residents. The day treatment program continues to provide vocational training for brain injured survivors who may return to competitive employment and social/recreational training for those who choose not to re-enter the work force. The transitional living wing allows brain injured survivors to live semi-independently in a controlled and supervised environment until they are ready to live on their own.
Each apartment features a furnished living room, bedroom, small kitchen area, and a handicap equipped bath. There are assistance call buttons in both the bath and bedroom of each unit. The facility also has a large central kitchen, dining area, laundry, and recreation room. Residents participate in the structured activities of the day treatment program each week day and there are special activities scheduled for the weekends.
